À jeun ? Pas à jeun ?
L’état de jeûne est un des éléments permettant la bonne exécution technique des analyses et une interprétation pertinente des résultats. Certaines analyses nécessitent un état de jeûne strict (absence d’ingestion d’aliments ou de boisson depuis 8h ou 12h en fonction du laboratoire, à l’exception de l’eau plate).

Il est recommandé de prendre un repas léger la veille au soir.

Les analyses qui nécessitent un jeûne de 8 heures :

Certaines analyses sanguines nécessitent un jeûne de 8 heures minimum, c’est-à-dire que vous ne devez ni manger ni boire autre chose que de l’eau depuis le repas de la veille. Voici les examens pour lesquels le jeûne est obligatoire :

  • Glycémie ;
  • Acide urique ;
  • Test au synacthéne;
  • Test de stimulation de l’hormone de croissance;
  • Test à l’urée.
Les analyses qui nécessitent un jeûne de 12 heures :

D’autres analyses sanguines nécessitent un jeûne plus long, soit de 12 heures minimum. Cela signifie que vous devez être à jeun depuis la veille au soir, sans avoir mangé ni bu autre chose que de l’eau. Voici les examens pour lesquels un jeûne de 12 heures est requis :

  • Bilan lipidique : cholestérol, triglycérides, HDL, LDL
Examens myco-bactériologiques :

Prélèvement à distance d’un traitement antibiotique ou antifongique (arrêt de 48h minimum).

Examens spécialisés :

Épreuve d’hyperglycémie provoquée , nécessite de rester au laboratoire pendant 2 heures. Appeler votre laboratoire pour savoir si une prise de rendez-vous est nécessaire.
Examens de génétique, Caryotype Fœtal ( à partir de 9 semaines de grossesse ).
Test respiratoire pour la recherche d’Helicobacter pylori respecter un jeun strict (nourriture, boisson, cigarette) de 12 heures minimum, respecter les conditions d’arrêt des traitements indiquées par votre médecin un rendez-vous préalable peut-être nécessaire suivant les sites (appelez votre laboratoire).
Test hormonal dynamique: appeler votre laboratoire pour connaitre les conditions de prélèvement (rendez-vous nécessaire).
